well, you know how scene/emo girl hair has that bang and it goes to the side and stuff. well, i parted i and made it look like that but the other side of my hair looks thinner and i do have natrualy thin hair, so can anyone help me?I don't want it to look thinner.=[

you probally with have to cut it to make it look thicker. Ask stylist to put layers in your hair with side bangs. It wil make your hair much thicker

and the only way to get scene hair is by cutting it and if u have thin hair i wouldnt do it cus u need tons of layers,bangs,thinned bottom of hair and stuff

as a bloke who had long hair i have some good advice for those lads and lasses who still have.

its a natural one and a few might find this a bit strange.

STOP using the treatments, you are destroying your hair and wasting money on expensive treatments.

clean your hair with hot water and a mild shampoo, MILD this means gentle with no treatments in it.

put your hair up and cover with scarf or somthing similar this stops every day contact with dirt and fumes from traffic and the like.

after 10-15 days take off the cover and you will find your hair as it should be naturaly.

your hair has self cleaning properties and natural oils within, everytime you wash your hair you loose all the natural oils and cleaners within.

if you do this your hair will look absolutly fantastic, when you go to the hairdressers ask for a wet cut with no treatment to get rid of anysplit ends, you will find that your hair will be stronger and more glossy than ever before.

you need to just keep doing the treatments. find a good leave conditioning treatment you can use in the shower...biolage makes good ones. leave it one for double time it says, concentrating on your ends. hair is dead once it leaves your scalp, so it may take a while for the hair to look nice again if youve processed it.

Naturally curly-haired people will always need a good moisturizing conditioner. Their hair seems to dry out way to easily. The best option to is to get a trim, other than that, the only other thing I could suggest is, you should get a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner that gives moisture. Ultimately, you will need a trim.

You want to make sure you have REALLY sharp scissors. Normal house scissors aren't sharp enough, and they'll probably give you split ends. I would suggest calling a professional, but if you're insistent on doing it yourself - I would say do it a little at a time. You can put the hair back on once you've cut it off.

DO IT! I cut my hair a few months ago and I lovedddd it... I had ppl tell me they liked my hair and then were surprised when I said I cut it myself.... It was this layered style.. and still is cuz I havent cut it yet... I'm not ready to let it go yet, lol... Maybe add side-swept bangs... Anyways, I used barber scissors and this pair of scissors that has shears that are like the teeth on a comb. Look out for those, thye helped wiht the layers a bit... CUT AWAY! =)

Anyone else have issues with getting their hair cut when they have psoriasis?

My fiance has severe psoriasis. It is especially bad on his scalp. Of course, he is extremely self-conscious about his skin and is easily embarrassed when people point out his "spots." To make things worse, he recently wanted to get his hair cut so that he could find a better job. After a day and a half of calling every salon in town, I found only three who would cut his hair...and of those three, one agreed very grudgingly. I guess my question is this: are there any other psoriasis sufferers (or loved ones of those with psoriasis) who have this same problem? Also, if there are any hair care specialists out there, would you have a problem with cutting the hair of a person with psoriasis?

I don't have this problem: a friend of mine cuts my hair. And my psoriasis (scalp, knees and elbows) has not re-appeared since I treated it with Champori cream and spray a year and a half ago. I suggest that your fiance should try it, too.

I have severe psoriasis on my scalp as well. There is no reason that someone should refuse to cut his hair. It is not contagious, it just doesn't look pleasing. I would just go to get his hair cut, and when you get there, tell them, "just so you know, I have psoriais on my scalp. " That way they aren't surprised when they see it.

any hair that grows after you've relaxed it is going to be your natural hair texture....which im assuming if wavy or curly. so no, it wont be straight

DONT cut it short i did the other day and it was a mistake seriously it like folds in toward your head loL! you can get maxi glide straightener it straightens WELL!

well if ur lookin 4 a change i say cut it i just cut like and 1/2 inch off mind it sounds like ur hair grows fast and i think it would be find if u have about shoulder legth or just cut it around midway to ur humurs( the big bone that attaches 2 ur shoulder if u didnt know already) honestly i think it would be find wavy or curly i say go 4 it ! good luck

When cutting your own hair why does it tend to look so awful?

i got clippers and whenever i use them to save a few bucks people always tell me i missed a spot, is there a way around this when cutting one's hair solo?
