ok so i haff short hair and its plain no layers or anything i wanna cut some pieces so lyk it can be into layers really chooppy n stuff..just cut some of the top hair and leave the underneath hair alone.. will it werk should i : \ just layers everywhere?!

Why Why Why would you want to cut your own hair. There are salons out there that will help you to find a great style that you are looking for and be there for you to help you along the way with your hair. You wouldnt go to Walmart when you fall down and need a doctor, why would you want to cut your own hair. Go to a professional for the sake of the people that have to look at you.

Pull the top layers up first and work your way with the bottom, making the sides EVEN. Then when you get to the top layers, pull them to the top of your head and cut them together, then let them fall back down to their natural spot..Bangs.. pull to the front, cut straight across and they will angle themselves if thats what you want in the hairstyle.

they are the ones who know best and can give you advice where to cut your hair..
