I would not recommend that you go that short. Maybe cut it to your shoulders first, and get some layers in it. You might like that a little better.

I would go to shoulders first because when you get it short without adjusting first, its possible you may freak... I had my hair to my elbows, and my mom decided to cut it herself (she's not a hairdresser) and she wanted to go to my shoulders but she kept messing up, and it ended up at my chin, and lets just say I don't let her near my hair anymore. I was really unhappy and irritated because my hair was bothering me. Ya... shoulder length first. Chin length later.

If I were you I would gradually cut it off, all at once could turn out kind of tramatic. I used to always have short hair, and now I am letting it grow long, it's at my middle back...and I would never cut short again. Long is beautiful.
