Why does cutting hair stimulate its growth?

Hair grows on average at the rate of half an inch per month. The rate of hair growth is also dependent on your natural growth cycle and isn't affected by cutting.

Have a look at the following link that explains the hair growth cycle (anagen, catagen and telogen)

Why does cutting hair stimulate its growth?

It doesn't.

Why does cutting hair stimulate its growth?

Hey Link. Just think about the factors. It's a natural occurrence for any thing on this earth to grow. Take yard grass for instance. You cut it, it begins to grow. The hair on your body does the same thing, it wants to service.

Why does cutting hair stimulate its growth?

It doesn't, it just evens it up at the ends, so that way when it grows out it looks like it's growing faster. Just an illusion. Newly cut hair has a different look; if it's been long for awhile you just don't notice the new growth.

Why does cutting hair stimulate its growth?

it's not that it stimulates it...it actually rids hair of split ends, which spread upward and cause breakage...therefore if you cut or keep it trimmed it remains healthy...

Why does cutting hair stimulate its growth?

It does not stimulate growth. It gives your hair a chance of growing evenly.
