I was also wondering does thick wavy hair look best with long layers or front layers? I had long layers before but I think they were cut wrong because they didn't look right (the lady that did them worked at home, cutting hair). I guess it's better to go to a salon. I am NOT thinning my hair, don't suggest it. Would that cut work good on me? I have long hair like her too. I want the bangs too. Do they start st a side part or go all the way across?

print out the pic and take it in with you when you get it done, if the person doing the work is good, they should be able to get a pretty good idea of what she's got just by seeing the pic

Girl- in this day and age- how do you even know that hair is her hair? It could all be a fall- or a weave- You are much better off going to a salon with a hairdresser you trust and asking her advice. or his advice- sorry guys!

Ok, first of all, stylists often rent spaces at a salon, and there is no guarantee that they are any better than the home cutting woman. Next, you should always bring a picture if you have one of what you want it to look like. Also, if you want a real professional, you should go to someone who is trained by either Redken or some other top name school.
