How to get a good hair cut that will make hair wavy and pretty?

I have always had long hair and i dont intend on EVER cutting it short! so please dont suggest anything like that....anyways, i LOVE the victorias secret models hair, when its wavy...its soo pretty...my hair doesnt curl and its sometimes just frizzy...what kind of hair cut (what kind of layers) and how can i explain them to the hairdresser that i want a hair cut that is LOW MAINTENANCE and i dont have to style everyday but it just looks good....the layers are the scariest part, because if they give you the wrong kind, it look frizzy and nasty. i NEVER straighten or even blow dry my hair. please help me explain a new cut
