Since I don't know how to cut my own hair, I unfortunately have to get someone else to do it for me....and I hate it every time I get it cut.
I will bring in a picture of what I want, and I will ask them "Can you do this and do I have the right kind of hair for it to look like this, because if not, I don't want my hair cut." Not being rude. And then they will tell me yes, and I can tell when they are cutting it that it's wrong. Or at least I think, but I can't say anything because I don't know how to cut hair! What do I tell them? And should you still pay for a haircut you don't like?
And if I happen to like the haircut, which I doubt, how much should I tip at a salon?
How do you get someone to cut your hair correctly?!?
You may have to shop around or get recommendations from people whose hair cuts you like.
It is hard to find a good hair stylist. Ask questions. Don't feel like you shouldn't. If something doesn't seem right, just ask. Tell them that you don't know but haven't been happy with the way your hair has been cut in the past so you are wonderring if there was a reason they cut it the way they did. A good hair stylist will be more than happy to answer your questions and address your concerns. Speak up. It is your hair and you have to live with it. I usually tip about 20%.

Sadly few are taught to cut hair with regard to what a haircut fits the shape of your face, nose, position of the eyes.Go to an expensive one or/and experiment with different styles on a computer with your picture, drawing or just try finding people with a similar face. Report It

Don't go to cheap places. you want to go somewhere where you actually have to get an appointment and yes it will cost more but you will get somebody more experienced.
