i have lots of split ends but i don't want to cut my hair (if nothing works then i will) which shampoos or products should i use?

No product or shamppo can eliminate split ends, they can only help prevent them. I would trim a bit off at a time, to slowly get rid of them. Make sure you are brushing carefully, also overwashing can dry your hair out making them more susceptible to split ends. Brushing the oils from the top of the scalp to the ends (like in the olden days - 100 brush strokes may not be necassary tho) can help protect hair as well. I don't rely on any store-bought product. i use rosemary essential oil and olive oil to deep condition. But again, once their split their is no "fusing" them back together - no matter what the commercials say.

Your split ends arn't just going to go away. You have to cut your hair. Actually you don't have to cut it, you have to just trim it a little. After you trim it it will grow twice as fast and twice as long as before.

You have to cut it. Split ends mean the hair is literally split and if you don't cut them soon the split will run up your entire hair shaft! (scary and gross, i know) so yeah... cut them.

also, after you cut off as much as you are willing too, if you still have split ends i would suggest going out and buying a silicon based creme to run through the ends of your hair. keeps them from getting knotting and looking gross, but still doesn't get rid of them.

well once the ends are split there split =D you can't get rid of them without cutting them. if you want them gone completly just go to the salon and get all the split ends cut, then just grow it and take care of your hair so you won't have any split ends. don't comb your hair while wet. or straighten it. try avoid coming if possible just untangle your hair with your fingers.
