I'm cutting my hair short. Look at this picture.?

My hair is reallly long. But it's getting so tangled, they're like dreads. :\ So I am just going to cut it pretty short so it's easier to maintain.

Anyone have any ideas for cute and easy short haircuts?

Short as in about shoulder length, give or take.

Looking at your pics on myspace, your hair seems to be pretty straight, so I don't think you should worry about cutting it too short. (My hair super curly and I got it cut too short once, and I had a slight afro goin' on.) Anywho.... your face shape would look nice with a cute bob that hits around your chin or a little longer. Look at celeb pics of Kelly Clarkson, Nicole Richie, or Katie Holmes... they all have a somewhat similar style that I think would look cute on you. I would stay away from Katie's bangs tho. Those are a bit too heavy I think to pull off in the real world.

You have an oval face, like mine. Which is really good news: almost any style will look fabulous on you. If you're getting layers, have the top layer even with the feature you want to emphasize. You have great eyes and bone structure, so that part might be hard to decide. My avatar is the actual hair style I have.

Your hair would also look great in the Katie Holmes style: the chin length bob that gets longer at the front, with the back in graduated layers. Very sexy.
