I've been dating this girl for about 4 months and she has really pretty long dark hair with slight curls in it and I found it very attractive on her and I met her in that style. However just the other day she went out and got her hair cut shorter than chin length and i had no clue she wanted to do that she just came back like that. Should I be honest and tell her she looked more attractive with longer hair in my opinion or just lie and say I like the hair cut? Also is just going out and cutting your hair short without mentioning it normal to you guys? I find it odd to be that impulsive and I wish I could have been more involved in helping her with a new look if she wanted to try something new. What do you think? What should I do?

Just simply say that you liked her long hair better and hope that she'll let it grow out. Come on it's hair, you might not like the short hair, but it will grow back..... BTW I wouldn't mention that she looked more attractive with the long hair, just say you liked her long hair better....=) Ask her if it was an impulsive act and just be happy for her if she likes her new look.

I would let it go, it's just her hair. It wouldn't be worth getting in a fight over if you truely care for her. Just let her know you felt hurt she didn't include you in trying something new. Hopefully she'll feel touched that you care.... if you approch her in the right way about it.

I find it odd that she didn't even mention it to you, but she doesn't need your permission to cut her hair. I'd just tell her that you would have appreciated her mentioning it, but maybe she was ready for a change. It will always grow back.

I think you should be honest with her. In relationships, honesty is always the best thing to do. You shouldnt be afraid to tell your girlfriend the way that you feel. You should be able to trust her. If she was a good girlfriend, she would understand.

please dont telll her you dont her it!! theres nothing a girl hates to hear more than that their boyfriend doesnt like the way they look! if anything, tell her its cute, but her long locks were sexier. I do that. I tell people I'm getting a hair cut then get it all cut off (everyone thought I meant cutting like 2 inches off). Last time I got mine cut "boyishly" short. Like... 2 inches long. My boyfriend said it was okay but he liked it better long so I'm growing it out again. It was fun while it lasted (It's still barely over my ears but it's growing fast!).
